Integrative and Nutritional Approaches to Gastrointestinal Disorders

I was able to spend time with old classmates and faculty as well as learn some new and exciting ways to address the causes of patient’s symptoms. These archaea (not bacteria) do not respond to most antibiotics and can have a huge impact on your health.

I also learned about different ways of assessing for and addressing small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Ways to support the side effects of chemo therapy for colon cancer. And discussed different ways to support the gut for optimal digestion and function.
